As a result, Tacony is now manufacturing 13 lines of vacuum cleaners at its U.S. facility in St. James, Missouri. Not only does this allow Tacony to proudly put the “Manufactured in the USA” label on its Missouri products, it enables Tacony to maintain closer control of quality issues and to be more responsive to dealer and consumer needs.

Tacony Manufacturing In addition to the new facility to support Riccar, Simplicity and Powr-Flite, Tacony Corporation has invested a considerable amount of resources into Research and Development. Among the resulting new capabilities are:

• High-tech paint facility
• ISO 9001 certified
• Solid modeling design using a state-of-the-art CAD system
• Prototyping of vacuum cleaners and other products
• Detailed testing of all Tacony products using ASTM standards
• 200,000 square foot addition for Mac Molding and additional distribution
