March 2021, FENTON, MO — Tacony Corporation, a privately held manufacturer and distributor that provides the world with better solutions for sewing, cleaning, and home, has promoted Nick Hinman to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations. Hinman will oversee manufacturing and distribution, supply chain, and engineering in this position. He will also serve as a member of Tacony’s executive leadership team.

Hinman joined Tacony five years ago, working with the supply chain and corporate strategy teams before serving as the interim operations leader for six months.

With Hinman’s promotion, Tacony Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Engineering. In addition to engineering, this position will also oversee project management, quality, warranty/tech service, and be a part of the Extended Executive Strategic Team, a leadership group to enhance internal executive strategic discussion and decision making.

A new position has also been created for a quality and regulatory manager. This position will work with the quality teams to establish consistent best practices and support global regulatory requirements and supplier quality initiatives.
